Biography:

Fr. Paul Girguis recently became a priest at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, ordained on March 3, 2009. In 1997, Fr. Paul began serving the youth ministry at St. John Coptic Orthodox Church in Covina, California. He led the youth there on several missionary trips to Africa, Mexico, and Hawaii. In 2005, Fr. Paul and his wife, Sherry, served the Coptic Mission in Kenya for 6 months, and returned to Kenya again in 2008 for 7 months. God has given Fr. Paul the grace to continue encouraging and building people through outreach and other ministries, such as the Young Adult Ministry (YAM) and Orthodox DC. He grew up in California and has a Bachelor\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s degree in Finance, Real Estate, and Business Law. Fr. Paul is married to Sherry Girguis and is the proud father of Daniel, Timothy and new born Joshua Shenouda Girguis.
