Biography:

Father Bavlos was born on February 21, 1980 as Bavly.

He studied English at the University of Ain-Shams in Cairo, Egypt. After his studies he started working as a teacher.

On 3 March 2006, Bavly was inaugurated as a priest by Anba Marcus, Bishop of Shoubra. He spent his first service years in the Church of St. Thomas and St. Demiana in Shoubra, Egypt.

In 2011 father Bavlos came to the Netherlands with his family, after which he started his service in March 2011 in Amsterdam. In 2015 Anba Arseny, bishop of the Netherlands and Belgium, fathered Bavlos to our church.

Father Bavlos and his wife have two sons and one daughter together.
