Biography:

Fr. Mark was born and raised in Egypt.  On July 18, 1996, Fr. Mark was ordained as a priest for St. Mark Church of Scotland.  He was elevated to the rank of hegomen (protopriest) on February 16, 2008.  After serving his congregation in Scotland for twenty-one years, Fr. Mark moved to the United States in August of 2017 where he currently presides as a priest at St. Mark’s Church of Washington D.C.  He and his wife Sanaa have two married daughters- Veronia (John) and Makrina (Joshua), as well as one granddaughter, Emmelia.
