Biography:
Fr. Thomas Ghobrial, born on 2nd March 1959, was ordained on 15th of June 1997 in Cairo, Egypt and has served at St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church in London since September 2002. He’s a father to anyone in the Body who needs him.
He loves sunrises and being treated to a mille feuille cake every now and again. But his greatest passion has always been to make the love of Christ as accessible as possible to the youth, through the Orthodox faith.
He’s known for many things, from his infamous laugh to his love for liturgical worship – but two words that his congregation will always associate with him are, kindness and gentleness.
Fr. Thomas always knows how to communicate the message you need to hear in the kindest and gentlest way. If he’s your father of confession, you can rest assured that you’ll learn the depth of the love of the Father.
Fr. Thomas is leading the youth services in St. Mark’s.
