Biography:

Abouna Mikael who was born in Menia, Egypt. He graduated and  earned a Bachelor of Pharmacology from Cairo, Egypt. Fr. Mekael Abdelmalek  was ordained into the priesthood by the hands of  H.H. Pope Shenouda III  on the  Pentecost Sunday of June 7, 1996 to serve in Menia, then he served different churches in Egypt (e.g. Alexandria).

Nevertheless, H.H. Pope Shenouda III send him to serve in US churches. He started in St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Indianapolis, IN, then he  moved to St. Mary and St Rewais in Madison, Wisconsin, then moved permanently to St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Troy, Michigan.
