Biography:

Fr. Mina Essak

  • Graduated from the College of Engineering, Assiut University, Cairo in 1967 with BA in Mechanical Engineering
  • Worked as a Designer and then a Mechanical Engineer with a variety of Consulting Firms
  • Joined the Federal Government in 1985, working for the Small Business Administration, then working for the US Army till October 1991.
  • Ordained as a Priest in November 1991 serving the congregation of the Church of St Mark Coptic Orthodox Church (Troy, MI)
  • Elevated as Archpriest in 1999, supervising the spiritual service offered to about 450 families around the areas.
