Biography:

As the services increased the ordination of a second priest seemed necessary. Hence, the congregation chose Engineer Magdy Taofles to become St. George’s second priest who was to assist and serve the ever-growing Brooklyn Coptic population. Magdy was an honest servant for the college youth and lectured in the Sunday nightly youth meetings. On November 15, 2000 Magdy was ordained priest by Pope Shenouda III and was named after the lamenting prophet Jeremiah. Since then Fr. Armia continues to serve the people of Christ in humility and love.
