Biography
Fr. Jacob Zaki has been serving the Coptic Orthodox community in Minnesota for many years. He was ordained as a priest by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II on March 3rd, 2013 to serve at St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church. Before receiving the Holy Sacrament of priesthood, Fr. Jacob had an active role in the Church, serving as a youth leader, a Sunday school teacher, and continuously taught songs to the youth. While he was dedicating so much of his time to the church, Fr. Jacob also received his degree in pharmacy. He was a practicing pharmacist for many years until he was called to the priesthood. In December 2018, after more than five years of service at St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II assigned Fr. Jacob to serve at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church to support and develop the ministry in the West Metro. We pray that Our Lord may bless his ministry and service, giving him wisdom, grace, and blessing to guide His flock in peace.Last updated 2026-10-01 08:51:57
